Langham Scholars

The exciting growth of the church in the Majority World needs our encouragement. Langham Scholars sees the real need to support the Majority World church with new pastors, able to preach and teach effectively.

See also www.langhampartnership.org
We believe the growth and maturity of church leaders are shaped by those who teach them.

Our Mission

The purpose of the Scholars programme is to provide financial support for evangelical doctoral students from the Majority World (the Developing World and Eastern Europe) who will return to train Christian leaders in their home country, most typically at the university and seminary level.

Our Grants

Financial support is given by means of a grant, in return for which the scholar agrees to return to Christian leadership, normally in a teaching capacity, in the Majority World for at least ten years, beginning immediately after receiving his Ph.D. The grant will be treated as a repayable loan if this agreement is not honoured.

Please help this significant scholarships effort in support of both growth and depth for the Majority World church by contacting us TODAY.
