Written principally for preachers and church leaders in the Majority World where English is not the first language, Live, Listen, Tell: The Art of Preaching is an easy read but challenging too. While written for a different context - it nevertheless "reads" well in the Kiwi setting. The prayer disciplines described in the book are enjoying increasing use in NZ and so it provides guidance in that with sermon writing in view.

There is a worldwide lack of men and women truly called of God and deeply taught in the Scriptures to lead the churches … Those who accurately and effectively expound the Scriptures are few, especially in areas where the churches are growing rapidly.” Operation World 2010 p17
