A Legacy for Tomorrow
We help equip the Church by supporting the development of great leaders within their own communities, cultures and nations. And for that we are totally reliant on the sacrificial giving of our wonderful Kiwi supporters.
Whilst regular donations help to meet some of the immediate training needs of leaders, Bequests left in a supporter’s Will ensure continuity and growth of support indefinitely.
A Bequest to LeaDev-Langham is regarded by the Board and staff as a very precious gift, and a responsibility to keep bearing fruit long into the future. Our commitment to our supporters is to steward their investments in God’s Kingdom long after they’ve passed on. Unless otherwise specified, we invest the capital received to generate ongoing income to fund the training of leaders. In this way the Bequest really does go on forever.
Tony Plews, Founding Executive Director
“We believe the most effective support we can offer the churches of the Asia-Pacific region is to help them train their own leaders in their own countries. We invite you to join us.”
Here is what some of our special friends say about why they have made a bequest
Mike & Heather Johnson
“We want to continue to help this ministry so that when we’ve passed away there will be money left for spreading the Word of God, the Gospel, throughout the world…. If we’re unable to go and do it, then the next best thing that we can do is to leave our money to be used.”
Doug & Ruth Astley
“We felt that this was an organisation making wise use of people’s funds. We love the idea that they’re supporting students in their own country…who can go out and help the people of their country. We like that style of mission work. Obviously we encourage people to give in their lifetime, but there needs to be ongoing support, so we feel a Bequest is well worthwhile.”
